I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. What the Shelter Says About Me: This sweet 5-year-old torbie girl has quite the story written on her face — complete with an ear tip and little cauliflower ear — but don’t let her tough exterior fool you. She is incredibly friendly and affectionate, and taking pictures of her is nearly impossible because she just wants to come right over for attention and pets. Lap cat alert! Sylvie loves being petted and happily leans into affection. Sylvie came in with an orange male 1 year old kitty, Sawyer, who she treats like her son. We don't know their history, but their respect & fondness for each other is obvious. With her gentle, super confident and social personality, we think she could easily become a wonderful companion cat in a loving home. She’s the kind of cat who wants to be close to her people and would make a loyal, comforting friend! What my Foster Says About Me: Don't her grumpy face fool you - Sylvie is a love . With her more weathered look and tattered ears, she might be easy to overlook amongst the sea of cutesy kittens this time of year, but she is a diamond in the rough. She has the vibe of a grandma at only 5 years old. She hasn't shown a lot of interest in toys (though she will watch her friend Sawyer play from under the cat bridge). She loves to hang out under the chair and sometimes in a nest of blankets on top of it. :) She also loves to get pets (she will come and use her head to lift your hand if she would like some :)) and will sit by your side when she is done and just lay with and lean on you. She has a cute little trill that she uses sparingly when she is getting pets and is often full of purrs. She is friendly and social - she came right out of her crate when we first got home, and she always welcomes visitors by greeting them at the door. She is also a big fan of her wet food time :) If you are looking for a chill companion kitty, Sylvie may just be the girl for you :) TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together).
