While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, Monroe simply needs a patient and loving home where he can feel safe and comfortable at his own pace. Monroe enjoys cozy hiding spots, calm environments, and kind people who understand that the best friendships take time. This adorable tuxedo boy is looking for a forever home where he can continue gaining confidence and be loved for exactly who he is. With patience and care, Monroe is sure to become a loyal and loving companion. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
