Gherkin - Female DOB 2/14/2026 Domestic Short Hair - Black and White Gherkin came pre-loaded with two settings: full speed wrestling match, and instant lap cuddler. There does not seem to be much in between. One minute she is tearing around the room like she owns the place, and the next she is climbing into your lap for pats like nothing happened. As her foster brother puts it, she is "active and energetic, but when calm she's cute and snuggly" — and that pretty much sums her up perfectly. At four months old, Gherkin still has a lot of kitten energy to burn, so she will need to go home with another young, playful feline who can keep up with her — her brother Dilly would be a wonderful option if you are looking to adopt them together, though she would also do well paired with a different playful feline. She may also do well with a cat-friendly dog given a slow introduction, and respectful kids who know how to handle a rambunctious kitten would be a great match for her too.
