A concerned citizen called 311 when they spotted an injured roaming dog wandering through their neighborhood alone. When officers arrived, they found Dahlia in pain, suffering from wounds caused by an attack from another animal. Her body showed signs of everything she had been through, but somehow, she remained gentle. Even now, Dahlia still walks up to people with soft eyes and a wagging tail, hoping someone will stop to love her. She follows people around just to be near them. She leans into every gentle touch like affection is something she's been missing for a long time.
