Meet Eli Imagine seeing a doorway... and not knowing you can walk through it. That's where Eli is right now. Rescued from a Texas hoarding and breeding situation, Eli is slowly discovering a world he's never really known. Right now, he's still in boarding, and every new experience takes courage. Even something as simple as walking through an open door is a brand-new lesson. He's cautious. He's unsure. And he's still learning that people can be kind. Eli isn't looking for someone who expects an instant best friend. He's looking for someone who understands that trust isn't given—it's earned. The family who chooses Eli will celebrate the little victories: The first tail wag. The first time he chooses to come closer. The first time he realizes he's finally safe. Those moments will mean everything. Eli will need: A patient, understanding adopter A securely fenced yard Time to decompress and learn at his own pace A home that celebrates progress, not perfection Some dogs need rescued.
