Hi, I'm Sonrisa. My name means `Smile,` and once I feel safe, that's exactly what I'll bring to your home. I'm a sweet, sensitive, and energetic lady looking for a dog-savvy family who loves cattle dogs! I adore people and I love a good nature walk - nose to the ground, ears flopping about, and tail curved high in the air, snuffling my way through every fascinating smell the world has to offer. I have a shiny light brown coat, with one delightful quirk: it looks like I stepped into a pot of white paint. Both front paws went in deep, my back paws only got a little splash - and it seems a little dripped on my chest too. I think it suits me. I am on the shy side with new people and especially slow to warm up to men, so I'd like to meet everyone in your household here at the shelter before heading home. I may take a few days to warm up in my new home and I would love a quiet home without kids or small mammals. Once I'm comfortable, though, I am affectionate, cuddly, and playful. I might enjoy having a dog companion too - just ask for an in-shelter meet and greet, since I can get a little rambunctious with my friends! I can't wait to meet you - and live up to my name.
