About

This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Fern, the five-month-old Poodle mix who is happy, playful, and already shaping up to be one wonderfully well mannered puppy! At 23 pounds and growing, this sweet girl is medium energy, deeply lovable, and already knows sit, down, leave it, and drop it, with stay coming along nicely too. Fern is completely housetrained in her foster home, sleeps soundly through the night in her crate, and goes in happily with a treat whenever it is time to settle down. The only thing standing between Fern and a perfect record is rain, which she firmly believes should not be allowed to fall on her, though a treat can usually convince her to brave the great outdoors anyway. She loves fetch, though she has cleverly turned it into a game where she drops the ball and then expects a treat in return. She loves her toys, gets excited for walks, and adores car rides, hopping right in and sitting like a perfect passenger. She gives kisses freely and lights up with joy whenever her people come home. Fern can be a little timid around new people at first, but she warms up quickly once she realizes everyone just wants to be her friend. She loves being around people and would do best in a home where someone is around often, with a fenced yard for plenty of fetch and playtime. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
