Meet Daisy Daisy’s story is heartbreaking, but her resilience is undeniable. She was found abandoned in Brooklyn, left behind with nothing but a note. When rescuers reached her, she was barely alive, extremely underweight, weak, and exhausted from neglect. It was clear she had endured far too much for far too long. And yet, Daisy chose to survive. Despite everything she has been through, she remains incredibly gentle and affectionate. She leans into human touch, seeks comfort in people, and carries a quiet trust that is both fragile and remarkable. Daisy is sweet, loving, and deeply resilient: a dog who has every reason to give up on people, but instead still believes in them. She is now safe, and every day she is growing stronger. What she needs next is simple but life-changing: a home where she will never be abandoned again, where she will be cared for, cherished, and truly seen. Daisy didn’t get the beginning she deserved, but she still has a chance at the ending she does. All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.
