Meet Pyro a 17 pound 9-year-old Shih Tzu Poodle Mix Pyro is a quiet, easygoing little dog who loves being near his people. He gets along well with other small dogs and cats and is happy to spend his days relaxing and watching the world go by. Although he has not been around children, he has a very sweet personality. His favorite spot is the back of the couch, where he has a bird’s-eye view of the outside world. He rarely barks, even when a squirrel comes to the window. Pyro also enjoys his toys and will happily pull every one of them out of the toy box several times a day. Since he can be destructive with them, he should be supervised during playtime. He walks well on a leash, but he would do best in a home with a fenced yard. Because he does not potty while on leash walks, we recommend a fenced yard for him. Pyro is housetrained, but he DOES NOT signal when he needs to go out. In his foster home he’s taken out every few hours. He would do best in a quieter home with someone who is retired or works from home. He’s a happy guy but just very chill. Pyro’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
