But what he may have lost in his past, he more than makes up for in charm, resilience, and heart. He’s a small terrier mix with the most adorable wiry coat and a signature little underbite that gives him a constant “smile.” His soulful eyes and curious personality make it impossible not to fall for him. Despite his rough start, he’s incredibly sweet and loves being around people. He’s the kind of dog who will happily follow you from room to room, just wanting to be near his person. Whether it’s cuddle time on the couch or exploring the yard, he’s simply happy to be included. He has been successful around dogs, cats, and kids, and truly loves everybody he meets. Medical Note: This handsome boy has Chronic Superficial Keratitis (CSK), also known as pannus, a chronic inflammatory eye condition that affects the cornea. CSK is typically immune-mediated and can cause pigmentation, blood vessel growth, and cloudiness in the eyes over time. While the condition is not curable, it is very manageable with consistent treatment, usually involving medicated eye drops. He is currently doing well, and with lifelong management and regular veterinary care, many dogs with CSK maintain good vision and enjoy a normal, happy life. Finley can transfer to his adoptive home after July 7th following his eye recheck appointment.
