I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog J:2 Kieran, a 1.2-year-old Shepsky weighing 53 pounds, is very submissive and timid in interactions with people, but has been steadily coming out of his shell with the support of well-matched dog friends. He is gentle by nature and takes treats softly, showing a kind and careful temperament. On leash, Kieran is easygoing and calm. He will do best in a home or environment with patient, experienced adopters who can give him the time, space, and reassurance he needs to continue building confidence at his own pace.
