Hi, I'm Eddie! I'm a 3-year-old Mini Poodle weighing about 12 pounds, and I'm on a journey to discover just how wonderful life can be. You see, I spent the first part of my life in a puppy mill, so many everyday things are still new to me. Loud noises, sudden movements, and unfamiliar situations can make me a little nervous, but every day I'm becoming more confident and learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. My favorite thing in the whole world? My people. Once I trust you, I'll happily become your little shadow. If you're moving from room to room, chances are I'll be right behind you. I love being close to the people I care about, whether we're relaxing on the couch, watching TV, or just hanging out together. Speaking of couches... they're one of my favorite places! I love curling up on soft blankets, cuddling with my humans, and rubbing myself along the couch in pure happiness. I also enjoy following my canine foster siblings around to see what they're up to, rolling around in the grass, and taking naps after a busy day of being adorable. When I meet new people, I can be a bit shy at first. I just need a little time and patience to realize you're a friend. Once I do, my sweet and loving personality starts to shine. I'm learning all kinds of things in my foster home. I walk nicely on a leash and continue to improve with practice. I'm getting more comfortable riding in the car, sleep quietly in my crate at night, and I'm almost completely housebroken. I don't mind being picked up and carried, and I'm happy to share my toys and food—no resource guarding here! What I'm looking for is a family that understands I may need a little time to adjust and continue building my confidence. In return, I promise to give you loyalty, companionship, and plenty of snuggles.
