Learn more here Blanket is 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier weighing 72 pounds. He is a very shy, sensitive boy who has had a difficult time adjusting to shelter life. When overwhelmed, he tends to freeze in response to stress and is still building confidence with leash walking, though he's shown some nice progress during his foster stay. Blanket is looking for patient, experienced adopters familiar with fearful or shy dogs who can give him plenty of time and space to decompress and settle in at his own pace. A quiet, adult-only home would be ideal for him. Blanket would do well with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
