Meet Diesel At just 1 year old, Diesel is a big-hearted boy with an even bigger personality! This handsome guy came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past, but we do know he's ready for a fresh start filled with love. Diesel arrived with injuries believed to be from an embedded collar, but he's already healing up beautifully and feeling better every day. Despite everything he's been through, he hasn't let it dull his spirit — he's still full of energy, love, and excitement for life.This strong boy will need someone willing to continue working on his leash manners and help him learn that not everyone is prepared for surprise hugs and kisses from a dog his size! Diesel absolutely adores affection and thinks he's a lap dog at heart.If you're looking for a goofy, loving, energetic best friend who will keep you laughing and shower you with love, Diesel may be your perfect match. Come meet Diesel and give this sweet boy the second chance he deserves! Currently--75 lbs -Unknown how he does with cats and small children at this time (as we get to know him). He has done well with other dogs in play group that have a similar rough and rowdy play type. If you are interested in meeting Diesel, please visit the shelter during open adoption hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10 AM–12:30 PM & 2 PM–4 PM Thursday: 10 AM–12:30 PM & 2 PM–6:30 PM Saturday: 9 AM–1 PM If you do not own your home, please bring written consent from the property owner allowing a dog on the property. If you have another dog at home, please plan to bring them for a meet-and-greet before completing the adoption. Adoption fees: 6 months and younger: $250 7 months–5 years: $200 6–10 years: $150 11 years and older: $100 Watch for adoption specials!
