To ensure Hollywood #2 finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. Hollywood | 10-year-old Terrier Mix | Your Tiny, Devoted Shadow Hollywood is a sweet, low-energy little lady who lives for love, cuddles, and being close to her person. This 11-pound beige beauty is happiest curled up in your lap, resting her head on you, or gently offering her paw for more affection. She has a calm, easygoing personality and would make the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, snuggly best friend. She enjoys short, relaxed walks and does great on a leash, making outings together a breeze. At home, she’s just as content to lounge and soak up attention. Hollywood is food-motivated and knows several basic commands, including come, no, wait, leave it, and down, and she’s currently working on sit and stay. She’s nearly house trained—she uses pee pads and will whine to let you know when she needs to go out. With consistency and a routine, she will continue to improve. Hollywood is generally neutral around other dogs and cats but would prefer to be the center of your world. She can be a bit protective of her person if another dog tries to compete for attention, so she would thrive as the only dog in the home. She does well with children and enjoys gentle interactions. This lovely girl does have some medical needs to be aware of. She is scheduled for dental surgery and will likely have her remaining teeth removed due to severe periodontal disease. She also has luxating patellas in both hind legs, which can make stairs challenging, though she still gets around comfortably. These are important considerations, but they don’t stop her from being a happy, loving companion. Hollywood’s ideal home is a calm environment where she can be someone’s constant companion—a true little shadow who will follow you from room to room, always ready to give and receive love. What she wants most isn’t a big adventure or a busy lifestyle—it’s someone to love. Someone who appreciates quiet companionship, cuddles, and the kind of loyalty only a senior dog can offer. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $125 . Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
