I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Cat Adoption:36 Maui and Moana are 5-month-old siblings setting out on the biggest voyage of their young lives — finding the home that's truly theirs. Maui is the more easygoing of the two, calm and curious, happy to charm his way through a visit and never far from a tube of Churu. Moana is a bit more cautious and likes to test the waters before committing, but she's been steadily finding her courage and settles in more with each visit. Treats are the surest way to both their hearts, and they've been warming up nicely to the volunteers who take a gentle approach. These two are still learning to read the currents of shelter life, but with a patient home to call their own and someone to help show them the way, there's no telling how far they'll go.
