Zane is a house-trained superstar that can easily handle his person being gone for a workday, walks to the back door when he needs to go, and is even learning to ring a potty bell! He is a goofy, curious 'Velcro dog' who takes his job as your assistant very seriously (he's nosy and loves to be involved in whatever his person is doing). He also loves to spend some time in the morning sun as well as a long nap, especially when he can lay completely flat on his back with his paws in the air. He is an absolute angel for grooming—allowing his paws, face, and ears to be cleaned without a single complaint—and has a playful energy that would thrive with another dog buddy. While he walks well on a leash once he settles down, he gets very excited when seeing other dogs and will bark to say hello, making him perfect for a patient handler ready to guide his social enthusiasm. Oh, and he will do almost anything for a fun treat. Side note: he tolerates his crate well after he gets his initial barks out and handled the recent thunderstorms beautifully, slept through the night each time.
