Rescued from a hoarding situation, these little ones faced many challenges. They are our Land Before Time litter, (Petrie, Rooter, Little Foot, Cera, Spike and Ducky). Every litter has a princess, and Cera knows exactly who she is. As the only girl in a litter of five, Cera was treated like royalty from the very beginning. Being the smallest kitten certainly didn't hurt her case either. Her brothers adored her, her foster family spoiled her, and everyone quickly learned that Queen Cera expected, and received, plenty of love and attention. But don't let her royal title fool you. This tiny grey girl can wrestle with the best of them. Despite being nearly half the size of some of her brothers, Cera has no problem taking them on during a wrestling match. She is every bit as playful, adventurous, and fearless as the boys. When Cera first arrived in foster care, she and her brother Spike were both very sick and needed extra support, medical care, and lots of love. Going through that experience together created an incredibly special bond between them. To this day, they can often be found snuggled together, grooming each other, or curled up side-by-side for naps. They would make an amazing pair for a family looking to adopt two kittens who are already best friends. Because Cera wasn't feeling well during those first few weeks, she spent a lot of time being held, cuddled, and comforted by her foster family. Naturally, she decided that being carried around by humans was one of life's greatest pleasures. Now, Cera fully expects her people to provide regular snuggle services throughout the day. One of her favorite places to nap is tucked between her foster mom's office chair and neck while she works. She's basically a living scarf with a purr motor. When she's awake, Cera loves chasing balls around the house, racing up cat trees, flying down carpeted stairs after toys, and showing off her athletic abilities with wand toys. She enjoys playing with her brothers and the adult cats in her foster home and is always ready for the next adventure. .Cera also formed a very special friendship with the 70-pound dog in her foster home. She loves nuzzling her face, receiving her regular "spa days" while the dog lovingly cleans her, and making biscuits on her giant canine friend before settling in for a nap. One of the sweetest things about Cera is how deeply she loves her people. She purrs almost nonstop and is happiest when she's close to her humans. She tries very hard to meow, but often no sound comes out. Instead, she'll stand at your feet, stretch out a tiny paw, and silently request, "Excuse me, I'd like to be picked up and reminded that I'm perfect. “And honestly? She is. Cera is the perfect combination of playful and affectionate. She plays hard, loves fiercely, and snuggles even harder. If you're looking for a kitten who has been absolutely spoiled with love and plans to continue that lifestyle forever, Cera is ready to rule your heart and your lap.
