About

Lamb is a gorgeous girl who will ask for a bit of patience from you…and then completely melt you. She spends her days chasing toys, cuddling her foster brothers, watching Bird TV with great seriousness, and batting a ball back and forth like she's in the World Cup. At night she sleeps at your feet, making biscuits, and purrs like she's always lived there. Touch is something she’s starting to love: You can watch it happen in real time. She'll reach up and tap you with her paw, then dart away…checking whether she's ready yet. And once she decides she trusts you, she leans into pets, purrs, and doesn't leave. She already does this with her foster who adores her. With the right forever person, she will do the same, and that's more rewarding than a cat who never makes you earn it. Lamb came to us from a colony in BedStuy. Once she was trapped, her rescuer reached into the trap with the beautiful tabbico who was letting out gentle meows. And Lamb didn't back away; she soon leaned into pets and started purring. Lamb would do best in a calm home with at least one other friendly cat to help her feel secure. She's 1 year old, spayed, vaccinated, free of fleas and parasites, and negative for FIV and FeLV.
