Williamina is a striking polka-dotted calico , about 1 1/2 yrs old, with quite the rescue story. She was found waddling the streets heavily pregnant and gave birth to her kittens the very next day. Needless to say, she seemed incredibly relieved—and appreciative—to finally be safe indoors. Now that she’s finished raising her babies (all have been adopted!)-- it’s finally Williamina’s turn to be cared for. She’s ready for a forever home where she can relax, be spoiled, and enjoy life as someone’s beloved companion instead of a young mama struggling to survive outside. Williamina likes being in charge and would do best as the alpha cat of the household. She's content as an only-cat, or with another mellow cat as a roommate. Or a dog, she's living with two cattle dogs and does just fine with them. Meet her at the Pet Food Express in downtown Walnut Creek (1388 S. California Blvd) on Saturdays 1-4pm.
