About

Smudge is a good boy that ended up with mange and eyelid issues that likely landed him in the shelter. This handsome guy is just over a year old, according to our vet, and is a tad underweight at 43 pounds. Well, his new life is here. He navigated our let's office like a champ on day 1 out of the shelter, greeting strangers like friends! He is being treated for the mange and is expected to have a full recovery with no longer term skin issues. He has also recently been neutered and has had entropion eyelid surgery so he can see his new life beautifully! In the meantime, we have learned he is super friendly, is fine around other dogs (mostly ignores them in favor of people), does get a little queasy in the car (drooling only) and is an all-around gentleman. We will post more as we learn about Smudge. He is fostering in the SF Bay greater area.
