Hi, I’m Markus. I’m a sleek German Shepherd, and I recently went on a little sleepover to show off my stellar house manners. My temporary foster parent took notes, and honestly? I literally hopped in, sat down like a perfect gentleman, and let myself be lathered and blow-dried. I expect a high-quality treat for this level of cooperation, of course.Chauffeur-Approved: I view car rides as a luxury Uber service. I get in easily, sit in the back seat, mind my business, and leave a 5-star review.The Perfect Roommate: I'm fully housebroken and have excellent house manners. I walk beautifully on a leash (I do like to be the line leader, though). I’m totally cool if you step into the other room for a bit. You do you, I'll do me. At night, I peacefully alternate between the dog bed and the floor. If we both have to get up for a midnight bathroom break? No drama. We do our business and go straight back to sleep.Love Language: Quality time and physical touch. Toys? Boring. Treats? Excellent. Full-body hugs where I lean my entire weight into you ? Perfection. MY ONE WEAKNESS (Hey, nobody's perfect) I have a zero-tolerance policy for cats: Dog friends, yes... cats, no thank you. The Final Verdict: I am a well-mannered, sweet, affectionate soul... who needs a strictly cat-free kingdom. If you’re looking for a dignified senior GSD who will fill your life with big hugs and zero bath-time drama, I’m your guy. This handsome boy has participated in shelter playgroups and he may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. He's also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter.
