Meet Mufasa — Retired From Chaos, Currently Accepting Snuggles Mufasa is a 5-year-old neutered Greater Swiss Mountain Dog mix with a calm, mellow personality and the energy of a guy who already paid his wild-young-dog dues years ago. Tennis balls? Not interested. Toys? You can keep them. His favorite hobby is simply hanging out with his people and enjoying life at a nice, reasonable pace. He's easy to leash, easy to walk, and easy to handle — basically the canine version of “low maintenance but emotionally supportive.” Mufasa enjoys taking peaceful sniffy walks where he can carefully inspect the environment before settling in right by your side for affection. Once he's done exploring, he leans into petting like a giant fuzzy weighted blanket and happily hands out sweet kisses. Mufasa already knows “sit” and “shake,” takes treats gently, and has very polite manners, although he can be a little picky about snacks. He walks nicely on leash and seems perfectly content spending quality time with his humans instead of chasing toys or causing chaos.
