If you’re looking for a fun and outgoing companion, look no further! This handsome boy loves to play with anything and everything—and everyone. Yuki will leap through the air around you and then zoom and forth around the room. If you’re busy, he’s perfectly content to entertain himself with something as simple as a piece of plastic or a mouse toy for hours. One of his favorite activities is to look at himself in the mirror and watch himself play. He can be very active at night too, so helping him burn off all that energy with multiple play sessions each day is a must! While he can be good about keeping himself occupied, it does seem as though Yuki would like another feline friend to play with who could keep him company when his people aren’t around. Yuki is one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet. He adores cuddling; all he wants to do is to lay in your lap or on your chest when you’re on the couch watching TV or lying in bed at the end of the day. He’s almost always purring to let you know just how happy he is. He can be very vocal and is still learning that nighttime isn’t the best time for conversation, but his foster shares that his after-hours chattiness has improved during his time with them and has mostly resolved. While it took Yuki some time to settle into his foster home, he’s very welcoming of new people, provided they’re ready to give him some attention! He’s very curious and likes to be involved in whatever you’re doing. He makes the cutest little noises when he sees you, as if to say, “Hello! There you are. I’ve been waiting for you.” Like most cats, Yuki has a routine and likes sticking to it. He starts his day with breakfast, followed by some solo playtime or he’ll squeeze in a quick cuddle session with you. One of his favorite pastimes is to gaze out the window at the birds and squirrels. You never know what they might be up to! After that, he spends most of the day snoozing, ideally in the same room as you if you’re working from home. In the late afternoon, he starts to wake up and then he spends his evening sprinting around the room playing until he’s tired. Then it’s time for snuggles until bedtime! Yuki is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
