Sakara is a n 8 year old husky . She needs to find a new person who will be her companion but, until a forever home can be found, she needs someone who will foster her . She was adopted and transported from our shelter to a home in north Idaho . The adopters have many years of experience with huskies and we were sure that Sakara would fit in with the “pack” of four other huskies. Unfortunately , she took an immediate disl ike to the big male, Bandit, and started attacking him at every opportunity. She has to be kept separate from the other dogs to keep everyone safe. Sakara was originally adopted from our shelter four years ago and her person died in January. The family held on to her until April before surrendering her back to our shelter. She was an only dog and we believe she would do best in an only dog home again. We all agree that it would be best for Sakara to go into a foster home rather than back into the shelter. Sakara is still in north Idaho but if a foster can be found in Emmett , or the surrounding area, we will arrange to transport her . If you can help, please contact the shelter at 208-365-1359.
