About

Salem is a 3-year-old, 38-pound mixed-breed pup with a gentle, people-focused personality. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having canine companions. Salem is excellent in his crate and is housebroken for the most part, though he may occasionally try to mark—something he’s continuing to improve with consistency and routine. He walks great on a leash and is also a fantastic car companion, making him an easy addition to day-to-day life. He’s more interested in spending time with his people than chasing toys or treats, and he truly shines when he’s getting attention and affection. While he doesn’t know any formal tricks just yet, he makes up for it by being an excellent cuddle buddy. Salem does have some energy and enjoys getting out and about, but he also settles in nicely. Salem has shown a bit too much interest in cats and may try to chase them, so a cat-free home would likely be the best fit for him. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who loves being by your side, Salem could be a perfect match.
