Clover is a 1-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 8 pounds, but this little girl has a heart full of love waiting to be shared with the right person. At first, Clover can be very shy. New people, busy environments, and energetic dogs can feel overwhelming to her. She's the kind of dog who prefers to take things slow and learn that she's safe before letting her true personality shine. The good news? Once Clover trusts you, she's absolutely wonderful. Her favorite volunteers have been spending extra time with her, and little by little, they're watching her confidence grow. The shy girl who once kept her distance is learning that people can be kind, gentle, and trustworthy. And when Clover is happy, you'll know it. She has the ultimate butt wiggles that make everyone smile. Clover loves to snuggle with the people she trusts and enjoys wandering around the yard with them, simply enjoying their company. She's not looking for nonstop excitement. She's looking for someone who understands that the best friendships sometimes take a little time to build. There isn't a mean bone in Clovers body. She's sweet, gentle, and sensitive. Because wild puppies, energetic dogs, and busy households make her nervous, she would do best in a calm home with patient adopters and no children. Clovers ideal family wont expect her to be brave on day one.
