Hi, I’m Minnie! I’m a Min Pin/Chihuahua mix with a sweet heart that just needs a little time to shine. When I first meet new people, I can be shy and a bit nervous. I may run away and bark, but I promise I do want to be in your lap. I do really well with other dogs. Unsure about cats. I am not leash trained, but volunteers are working with me on that. Once I trust you, my real personality comes out: happy hops, nonstop tail wags, and lots of excitement when I see my people. Please note, I do know how to climb fences. Minnie has received extensive veterinary care while in our rescue. When she went in for her spay surgery, our veterinarian noticed an irregular heartbeat with bradycardia, although no obvious heart murmur was detected. To ensure we had a complete picture of her health, we proceeded with comprehensive bloodwork and a full echocardiogram. Her bloodwork results were completely normal, including a negative Chagas test. The echocardiogram showed a structurally and functionally normal heart. According to the cardiologist's report, the limited ECG available for review was consistent with a sinus arrhythmia. Overall, Minnie's cardiac evaluation was very reassuring and showed no significant abnormalities. I’m already spayed, 4DX negative, microchipped, current on vaccines, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and ready to start my new life! My adoption fee is $400.
