Meet Beasty — The Not-So-Scary Snuggle Monster Beasty may sound like a tough guy name, but don't be fooled—this 2-year-old American Bulldog mix is basically a marshmallow with muscles. His tail is in a constant state of wag, like it's powered by pure joy (and maybe snacks). When it comes to walks, Beasty bursts out of his kennel like he's got somewhere important to be and will pull on leash at first. Once he burns off that initial energy, though, he settles into a much more polite and enjoyable walking buddy. He appears to be housetrained and takes care of business right away, like a very responsible gentleman. He's currently learning “sit” and even trying out the agility course, showing off his smarts and willingness to learn. He's very treat motivated and takes snacks gently—always a crowd favorite. In the play yard, Beasty is calm, affectionate, and all about the love. He enjoys pets, leans in close, and is fully convinced he belongs in your lap (no matter his size). He's also a quiet guy, preferring to save his energy for tail wags and cuddles. Beasty can be friendly with some dogs but not all, so a meet and greet is recommended to make sure it's a good fit. If you're looking for a goofy, loving companion with a wagging tail and a big heart, Beasty is ready to win you over.
