Hello, my name is Bowie! I am an approximately 18 month old male Lab and Pit Bull mix weighing around 50 pounds who is looking for a loving forever home. I was found off Holden Drive in Rockwall alongside two other dogs believed to be my siblings and was never reclaimed. I am a sweet natured boy who can be a little shy when adjusting to new people and environments. Once I feel comfortable, my affectionate personality begins to shine and I enjoy spending quiet time with my people. I am looking for a family that will provide patience, encouragement, and consistency as I continue to build confidence and learn that the world is a safe place. I walk well on a leash and enjoy companionship and attention from those I trust. With time and understanding, I have the potential to become a devoted and loving companion. I have done well with female dogs. If you currently have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is recommended prior to adoption to ensure we are a good match. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and annual boosters, and I have tested heartworm positive. Thanks to Rockwall PAWS, my heartworm treatment is sponsored, helping ensure I have every opportunity to live a long and healthy life. My adoption fee is $125. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
