Cassius has been waiting for his forever home since April 11, and he's been a long-time shelter resident. Over the last two months, volunteers have gotten to know him—and it's safe to say they've truly fallen for him. Cassius is an easygoing, calm, sensitive, soulful boy with a splash of humor and independent husky all wrapped in one. Once he feels comfortable with someone new he warms up and absolutely loves getting attention. He's also a chatty fellow who likes to “talk” and let you know he's got personality, heart, and plenty to say. Cassius does great on leash and loves going for walks. You may catch him playing with toys a little bit—and he's definitely showing off his intelligence, too. He'll sit for treats, and with a patient adopter who's willing to put in time and effort, he's ready to learn even more.
