We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home! This young boy is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is Island the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: Island is doing really well and settling back into home life more each day. He’s a total gentleman in the house—he seems to have solid basic house manners and already knows his basic commands. On walks, he does great on leash. He’s super sweet, loves other dogs, and is into his toys—especially tug of war, stuffed animals, and Kongs. Ultimately, he’s a total catch- very good dog. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
