Hightower: Not At shelter (Wendy)♂

Hightower is one of our very special Campbell County boys, and we are glad he is with us! He went straight to the vet the minute his hold time was up, where we learned he was heartworm positive. Heartworms are a huge burden for any dog, but the seniors need help immediately, and we got straight on the treatment program for Hightower. We would never have guessed this special little guy was a "senior," as he has so much energy and loves to be active and part of the pack at his foster home. His second, and final treatment for deadly heartworms was this week, so now he can concentrate on healing, resting, and enjoying life to the fullest. He is lovely with other dogs, tolerates cats, and has not met any one he is not immediately drawn to. Want to find out more?
