We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Currently Living at: Foster in the DC Area I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Venus , and I am a great kitty! I was a great mom to my kittens, and now it's my turn to be spoiled! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. What my Foster Says About Me: Venus is a sweet soul. She is a really pretty black cat with a faint tuft of white on her chest and deep rich yellow eyes. Her preference at first is to feel safe by hiding, but it only took a couple of days for her to come out and interact with me. She has not been very into toys yet, but she is all about the pets. When she wants them, she will pace back and forth and then settle in for some head and butt scratches, which she LOVES. She will put her head to the floor in happiness while you give face scratches, and look at you quizzically if you stop. :) So far, she has been more the companion type of cat, wanting to sort of just be in your area, but I think with how much she likes pets, given time and patience, she will open up for even more. She has lived with a cat, small, dog, and older children before, so she has experienced it, but given her more reserved nature, her best fit might be in a quieter space. She has lovely litter manners and always does well to cover her business and has not been destructive to anything. She has been an excellent mommy cat to her three babies, but it's time for her to experience all the good things a forever home has to offer :) It's time for her to know all the good in the world and let her flourish!
