Meet Midas - The Golden Boy With a Heart of. Velcro At 7 years young, this neutered German Shepherd mix didn`t land in the shelter because of anything he did wrong - his family had to move into an apartment and couldn`t take him along. Midas is friendly, affectionate, and firmly believes your personal space is more of a suggestion than a rule. He leans in for pets and delivers enthusiastic chin kisses like he gets paid for each smooch. He will absolutely try to become a 70-ish pound lap dog. He`s got some manners to go with that charm, too. Midas knows sit and shake, takes treats gently, and walks nicely on leash. He`s also a big fan of booty scratches. Midas is more of a casual explorer than a marathon runner - happy to sniff around and take it all in without going full zoomie mode. Midas would appreciate proper introductions and guidance when meeting other dogs. His previous owners shared that he can jump a small chain link fence - so a secure yard or supervised outdoor time will keep this golden boy safely where he belongs.
