Rosanna is a young adult calico with striking tiger markings, golden eyes, and the kind of face that makes it hard to walk past her without stopping. She came to us as a tiny kitten along with her sister Gloria, and the two of them were raised by a foster mom named Shakula, who stepped up to care for them after losing her own litter. That early bond still shows – Rosanna and Gloria are close, and Rosanna has a soft spot for Shakula as well. Rosanna and Gloria were adopted together and did well for a time, but proved to be a bit more energetic than their home was ready for. They’ve since grown up and settled down considerably. When they came back to us, Gloria slid right back into her old routine. Rosanna took a little longer to find her footing again, and she’s been honest with us about one thing: she’s not a crowd person. She does fine with her sister and possibly one familiar cat, but a busy multi-cat household isn’t really her scene. With people, though, she’s been genuinely sweet. Rosanna would do best in a quieter home – ideally with her sister Gloria, or with just one other easygoing cat. She’s spayed and microchipped. Adoption fee is $75.
