Hi there, I’m Cardamom! I’m a sweet, playful girl who’s been waiting several weeks for someone to notice me, and I can’t figure out why. I absolutely love playing with toys and wrestling. If I don’t have a cat companion to wrestle with, hunting my toys and pouncing around are the next best things! I especially love when my humans engage me in playtime with wand toys or other toys I can chase, wrestle, and “hunt.” Meal time is another highlight of my day, and I promise not to leave a single crumb behind! I also enjoy being brushed and don’t mind being held, especially when it means getting extra love and attention. Sometimes I even give gentle little love nibbles to show how happy I am. I came to Fancy Cats from a partner shelter and am hoping my next adventure leads me to a forever home of my own. When we first meet, I might be a tiny bit shy, but treats are the fastest way to win me over. Once I feel comfortable, I’m friendly, affectionate, and happy to be around people. I’ve also shown interest in other cats by meowing at them and trying to check them out, so with proper introductions, I may do very well in a multi-cat home. Dogs are a little more complicated for me—I sometimes don’t mind them, but if one gets too close too quickly, I may hiss to ask for some space. Because of that, I think I’d thrive best in a calm but still playful home where I can settle in at my own pace. I’m about 6 years old and already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. I’m healthy, loving, and ready to finally find the family I’ve been waiting for.
