Plastic bins will not be approved for female syrian hamsters. Potential adopters will need to show proof of a proper habitat setup before adoption. Nocturnal and crepuscular: This hamster is most active during the evening and early morning hours, making it a great companion for those who are awake during those times. Very active: Expect your new friend to be highly energetic and playful, especially during its peak activity periods. A hamster wheel, tunnels, and toys will keep it entertained and help it burn off energy. Experienced handler: Due to its energetic nature and occasional nipping, this hamster would thrive in a home with an experienced pet owner who understands its behavior and needs.
