I was found on the streets of Santa Cruz back in October after a rough encounter with a car (or maybe a very solid wall). I was a bit concussed and couldn't quite find my feet, but look at me now! I’m a big, beautiful, healthy boy who has traded pain meds for head scratches and tunes. <br><br> The Lowdown on Me: A Total Social Butterfly: I’m a lover, not a fighter. I’m very gentle and friendly with adults and even the little humans (I have a 6-year-old fan who feeds me treats!). <br><br> The Master Woodworker: If you give me a wooden perch, I will professionally "remodel" it. I’m currently obsessed with chewing popsicle sticks - it's my calling. <br><br> Musical & Vain: I love my mirror! I’ll spend hours singing and chattering to that handsome bird in the reflection. We have the best conversations. <br><br> A "Hands-Off" Romantic: I’m not quite ready to "step up" on hands yet, but I’m a total sucker for scritches. If I see another bird getting attention, I’ll sidle up and wait for my turn to be cradled in a towel for some chest-side snuggles. <br><br> My Perfect Match: I’m a big fan of the "buddy system." I really thrive when I have other bird friends to socialize with. Whether you have a lonely cockatiel looking for a partner or you’re looking to adopt a pair, I’m your guy. <br><br> My Favorite Things: <br><br> Snacks: Snap peas, carrots, apples, and my colorful pellets. <br><br> Hobbies: Singing, foraging on the floor, and showing those popsicle sticks who’s boss. <br><br> Vibe: Cheerful, social, and ready to fill your home with birdy songs. <br><br> I’ve been through a lot, but I’ve come out the other side as a happy, healthy guy who just wants a flock to call his own.
