He would appreciate knowing someone kind is nearby, watching out for him with fresh food, clean water, and a safe place to call home. At this time, Ardell would thrive in a barn, warehouse, shop, or large rural property where he could patrol his territory, hunt, and live life on his own terms. He would need a sturdy shelter (like a heated or well-insulated barn cat house, shed, or enclosed space) to get in and out of the elements year-round, especially during cold winter months. He is comfortable with other cats as long as everyone is spayed/neutered and there’s plenty of space for each to have their own domain—no crowding or drama.
