STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. If you want to meet any of our adoptables please submit an application. ReRe is READY to find her forever home! ✨ ReRe has officially completed all of her vetting and is now spayed, fully vetted, and ready for adoption! At about 1.5 years old and 60 pounds, she is truly 60 pounds of pure love. ❤️ For the last several weeks, ReRe has been getting a taste of the good life—sleeping on comfy beds, playing with toys, making friends, and learning what it means to be part of a family. Now she's ready to make that lifestyle permanent. Her foster mama describes her as the perfect mix of independence, affection, and playfulness. ReRe can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she trusts you, she'll reward you with endless loyalty and love. All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped. AGE DISCLAIMER : Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess. BREED DISCLAIMER : Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips : For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
