Hello, I’m Thera. I came to Fancy Cats along with my family of 9 in March 2026. We were found huddled in a storm drain in Wise County after a storm. There were 3 moms and 6 kittens. The 3 moms are probably sisters that got pregnant in their first heat. Then came the 6 kittens. All 3 moms took care of all of us so Fancy Cats didn’t want to separate us. Luckily my foster family took us all in. I am the last kitten looking for my forever home. I am a classic tortie with lots of tiny speckles on my face. I am long, sleek and slender (2 of our moms were like this). I am sweet and gentle and often very close to my people. It can lead to me being a tripping hazard. I will cuddle and lay against you while you work. I have a sweet purr. It is the loudest thing that I do. Being quiet doesn’t mean I don’t have energy. I love playing with teaser wands and hiding/finding small stuffed toys. My favorite toy lately is my own tail. I love other cats. Being from a large family I am used to snuggling and playing with everyone. I miss having so many other friendly cats around. I can’t wait to meet you! I am currently staying in Leesburg with my foster family. There are four humans. Two are big and two are medium (aged 10 and 12). There are also 2 adult male cats and 2 large dogs. Please ask to come meet me! Please note it is Fancy Cats' policy that kittens have an age-appropriate playmate in the home. We also do not adopt kittens to families with children under six years old without seeing appropriate history/experience with cats. Adoption fee: $350, includes first 2 FVRCP, deworming, flea preventatives, microchip If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
