My name is Vasya. I’ve had a lot of changes in my life, more than most kittens my age. In November 2025, I developed neuro-ocular FIP, and things got very scary very quickly. I lost strength in my back legs and couldn’t walk for a time. I went through treatment and finished on 2/3/2026, and slowly, my movement came back. Now I’m up, exploring, and living life with a lot more energy again. I’m a lively, curious girl. My fur is a bright red and my personality matches it. I like to investigate everything, even if I’m a little clumsy while doing it. I don’t always move perfectly, but I always move with enthusiasm. Of all my siblings, I’m the one who loves closeness the most. At night I like to come to bed and settle right on my foster’s chest, purring like I’ve been waiting all day for that moment. I don’t hold back when it comes to affection. If I trust you, I’m very, very in. I do have ongoing special needs. I have an underactive bladder and sphincter, which means I can leak urine and sometimes need help being expressed. I manage well with care and routine, but I will need an adopter who is comfortable with that part of my life and willing to support me. I’m not looking for a perfect situation. I’m looking for someone steady, kind, and willing to meet me where I am. In return, I give a lot of love, a lot of presence, and a very strong commitment to bedtime cuddles. To inquire about adopting this cat please complete an adoption application at tinyurl.com/ccapadoptions Once you submit an adoption application, a foster will reach out within 48 hours to schedule a meet-and-greet or ask any additional questions.
