Meet Mickey! Mickey is a handsome almost 4-year-old Beagle mix with a striking black-and-white coat and a gentle nature. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people and experiencing new situations, once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality begins to shine! Mickey is looking for a calm, patient home where he can continue building his confidence at his own pace. Having another small to medium-sized dog in the home is a must for Mickey. He takes great comfort in canine companionship and has enjoyed living with other dogs. A confident dog friend will help him blossom, we have seen this firsthand when he attends doggie daycare and becomes the life of the party with his dog friends! Because Mickey has shown some impressive climbing skills, he will also need a physically fenced yard with fencing taller than 4 feet. We've seen him scale 3- to 4-foot gates, so a taller, secure fence will be important to keep him safe. If you're looking for a gentle soul who just needs a little encouragement to come out of his shell, Mickey may be the perfect addition to your family. Extra points to you if your current dogs name is Minnie and we can match her with her Mickey!! Mickey's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines and 4DX testing. Mickey is seeking a home as an indoor companion, if you would like to meet him please submit an application at Adopthope.org. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of keeping their previously owned pets; altered, kept current on vaccines/preventatives/annual vet care and as indoor pets. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.
