About

Mario is an approximate 6-month-old Australian Shepherd mix that weighs around 30 lbs. He is currently living with two other dogs and the Beagle is his bestie! He would love a home with another dog for companionship. Mario was recently adopted but returned 24 hours later as the home with two small children was not a good fit for him. Their energy and quick movements created a lot of anxiety for Mario. While he had met kids before, he does not currently live with any so it was all very new for him. Mario has been meeting children as much as possible, since he was returned, for more exposure and to reduce his anxiety around them. He does great with kids 8 years and older because they understand he needs a slow approach and they are not as unpredictable for Mario.
