Hi everyone, meet Shadow Void. If there's one thing to know about Shadow Void, it's he's an expert flopper. Say hi? Flop. Give him a pet? Flop. His squishy body is made for flopping! Shadow Void was a sweet stray that his rescuer got to know and love when she would come back from work. He was always super friendly and they knew that he wasn’t feral but probably someone’s pet who got dumped. Before the most recent big winter storm set in, his rescuer and their housemates worked on making a makeshift shelter for him which ended with them being able to catch him to bring home. This little man did not stop purring or making biscuits for DAYS after he was brought inside. He was so grateful to be in warm and safe home again. His rescuer's brought him to the vet and he tested positive for FeLV, which means he can't live with FeLV- cats. Shadow does not care about his diagnosis, he is such a sweet and gentle soul that will look at you with the most expressive eyes. And climb right onto your lap. (This is how his rescuer first got to know him, he climbed onto their lap on the street and hung out there for a good 20 minutes). As much as it broke his rescuer's heart to not be able to keep Shadow, they are determined to find him his forever home. Please help in being the person who shows Shadow how to love and be a cat again, he has so much love to give. This cat can be adopted with a friend or as a single cat. Shadow is FeLV+ and needs to be adopted as a single cat or with another feline leukemia positive companion. Cats that are FeLV+ can live normal and healthy lives when provided with quality care such as a balanced diet and yearly wellness exam, however most likely their lifespans will be much shorter than other cats.
