Sweet 5-yr-old Moon (A1271369) is a wonderful companion. She is people friendly and easygoing in the house while loving playtime and walks. She meets and greets other dogs politely when we are on walks. She is an independent pup who is happy to entertain herself with an assortment of Nylabones/Benebones to chew, but she does want a cuddle with me at the end of each day. She loves having her tushy scratched and her chest massaged. She is spayed and heartworm free. This happy pup is the perfect Moon Beam, Moon Pie, or Moon Child for someone! Even on the days when she is Moony Toons! Moon's features include --making a happy oinking/snorty sound while she sniffs everything on walks. It's the cutest! --complete ease with food and toys. No guarding tendencies. I can take them/move them with no issues. --a gentle, happy nature who wants to be near her people but doesn't demand being the center of attention. On days I work from home, she is happy I am there but does not pester me, choosing to just sleep or play near me. --an ease about being in her crate. When she sees me ready for walking out the door or for going to bed, she goes into her crate without being asked. --enjoying watching the outside world from the windows in my house. --a tolerance of her baths. It is a small argument getting her in the tub, but once in it, she's a dream. She sits and lets you bathe her and makes no escape attempts. --beautiful behavior in the car. I've been on two road trips with her, and she was perfect in the back seat in the `dog hammock`. I take her with me in the car frequently. --a preference for blankets/pillows over dog beds. --a healthy appetite for her food --loving brush-time. I have grooming gloves, and she will sit and be brushed as long as someone wants to do it. All of our dogs and cats are microchipped, sterilized, and current on vaccines before going home.
