Attention bully breed lovers... we have the dog for you! Bailey Lou is the complete package - looks, smarts, and muscles for days! She is around 7 months old, sleeps through the night and does well in the crate. This spunky pup is probably a pitbull mixed with some other kind of bulldog. American? English? French? We don't know for sure, but we do know she is super cute and it's all part of her charm! She is a confident girl who knows what she likes and isn't afraid to show it. She is mostly house trained using a doggie door but she has shown some resource guarding tendencies. However, Bailey Lou is very food motivated, which makes training a great bonding opportunity and helps her learn quickly. Bailey Lou likes toys and tug of war and body checking anyone in her path. She gets along with other dogs and loves meeting new people. She has a big personality and can be a bit mouthy at times so a home without small children, cats, or little dogs (under 20#) would be best until she gets a bit older and calmer. Right now, she's the perfect bully breed puppy and would love to meet you! Bailey Lou will thrive with a family that enjoys playtime, toys, and positive training to help her channel her energy and smarts. With the right guidance and plenty of enrichment, she's going to grow into a fun, loyal companion who keeps life exciting. Bailey Lou has all her age appropriate vaccinations. She will require a spay surgery when she is 8 to 10 months old which will be a requirement of her adoption. Bailey is seeking an indoor only home and her adoption fee is $300 which includes her current vaccinations, preventatives, microchip, and a free basic training class at Cedar Run #2 in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered and current on wellness exams, vaccinations, and preventative care.
