Meet Jinxy/ Luna Hi! Just wanted to send a Luna update and a few more pics. If she tolerates it, she's getting a bath and trim in a few days and I'll send a few more pictures. Luna LOVES her people, hanging out on the couch, and car rides. She is the perfect travel companion and gets a 10/10 for car rides! We took her to Daytona Beach and Gatlinburg. She does better on long rides than most humans. She's done well with a rambunctious 4 year old, small and large dogs, and cats. She doesn't play with toys but loves to go for walks, sniff, and play with other dogs. She loves chase! She doesn't do well with strangers and takes a few hours to warm up. Once she does though, she wants all their attention. She just needs a proper introduction and time to adjust to new people (she does great with dogs though!). She has a GI issue that is still unresolved, and she can have absolutely no table scraps, treats, or bones. It is exacerbated with stress, so she'd do best in a home without frequent parties or that requires boarding. Meeting new people is stressful for her. Jinxy is a 5-year-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix looking for a calm, adult-only home. She is a sweet, smart, low-key girl who enjoys a quiet lifestyle and just needs a little time to warm up to new people. Why Jinxy is amazing: Great in the car & fully crate-trained Super food-motivated and easy to train (knows sit, down, & touch) Prefers pottying outside and is learning to signal at the door. If her cue is missed, she reliably uses a puppy pad. Jinxy hasn't spent much time around other dogs yet and can be a bit vocal/wary when she senses them nearby. Jinxy would do best as an only dog or with very slow introductions to a calm pup. She’s curious about cats and sometimes tries to chase, so a cat-free home or a dog-savvy cat is best. Because she gets a little over-excited about her favorite things (food and toys!) and likes to jump up to say hello, she’d do best in a home without tiny humans. This sweet girl’s world has been flipped upside down after her owner had to move into a nursing home. Now Jinxy is in boarding—scared, confused, and wondering where her cozy Christmas went. But we believe in Christmas miracles , and you can help make one happen. All she needs is a Foster (or Adopter!) to give her a warm home, a soft bed, and a little love while her tiny heart heals.
