Approximate date of birth: 6/7/2025 | Sirena is an independent, gentle, and and quiet soul that is shy when it comes to human attention. This beautiful girl is sensitive to physical touch in general and may get overstimulated if petted too strongly initially. Gentle, loving pets around her neck, back, and butt will have her purring and rolling around side-to-side affectionately. She warms up quickly to pets when offered food or treats, so be sure to give her plenty of pets during any feeding session. Sirena also enjoys petting when she feels secure in an elevated or protected position, such as in a cat tower. She will slowly approach you when sitting on the ground next to her, and responding with slow movement will earn her trust to be pet easier over time. Sirena does not like to be picked up but will tolerate it if needed. With time, the usually silent Sirena will meow for attention and pets, and even sleep next to you. She will likely do best with a kitty friend in her new home to help her gain confidence and learn the ropes.
